The Open Sea- The Paper Players Challenge

I love finding new challenge blogs and last week I found one that I thought had some fantastic challenges.  The Paper Players had a fantastic sketch this week.  I wanted to make a vintage card so I decided to use The Open Sea stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog.  I spritzed the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz and inked the edges of everything with Early Espresso Classic Ink.  The white of the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine was a little stark so I just rubbed it on my Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad to give it an aged look.  The colors I used were Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday.  Take care.

Very cool card--I always thought that baker's twine was too white, too! Good idea to shabby it up a bit! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!

This is fabulous! Thanks for the tip on "aging" the twine. I will have to remember that as I just got twine with my latest order.
