Tea Shoppe- From Way Long Ago

I have to apologize for my lack of posting lately.  I have been super busy and I hope to find time over the next week or so to share with everyone what I've been doing.  So for now...on to the card...  This is a card I made about two months ago.  Yes...I am just now getting around to share it.  lol  I used the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set (which made it into the new catalog).  I first stamped the tea cup and then cut it out.  Next, I added the swirls that were cut using the Swirls Scribbles Die.  I wanted it to appear as though the cup had steam rising from it.  I finished it off by adding a tiny tag and some Pool Party Seam Binding.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Mother's Day.  I fixed brunch for our moms and we were able to enjoy the morning with our families.  The weather was also beautiful here today so we spent pretty much to whole day outdoors at home.  A perfect day in my book!  Have a wonderful Monday and take care.

Enjoyed the brunch so much and so did JoAnn. We enjoyed looking at your beautiful herb garden and watching the kids play outside. Thanks again for the lovely pitchers of flowers. such cute and creative tags:) It was a perfect day.

Oh my word, I love how you used the swirl for the steam coming out of the cup. Very creative! I've gotta keep that in mind!

Another stamp set I should have bought! Can you ever have too many teacup images? Your card is so pretty and elegant. I do hope you had a nice Mother's Day.
