Holiday Ice Skate

About a month ago I was wondering through one of my favorite home decor stores and noticed the cutest little ice skate.  It was of course made out of what looked like barn tin to me.  That tin ice skate inspired this creation.  My ice skate is made using the Holiday Stocking Die.  I just made a few changes to the stocking.  I cut a notch out of the bottom of the stockings so it would look like more like a boot and ran it through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  Next, I added a scrap of Basic Black Cardstock for the heel and rounded the corners.  The blade of the ice skate is made using some scraps of Brushed Silver Cardstock and the Swirls Scribbles Die.  I finished it off by adding a snowflake punched out of the Silver Glimmer Paper, spraying the whole skate with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz and placing some greenery in the pouch.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.  Take care.
