Halloween Layout and Some Spooky Punch Art

I rarely put together a scrapbook layout without having my pictures first.  However, I think I can get away with that when I'm doing Holiday Layouts.  So the layout below has no picture yet.  lol  I have used several different textures and techniques on this 12 x 12 page.  The Spider is made by using my Stampin' Up Punches only.  His body and eyes are made using three different circle punches and his legs are made using a square punch.  To see how I made the legs, CLICK HERE.  I will also post this under my Tutorials Tab as well.  I added some Basic Rhinestones to give him a little bling.  The Pumpkin is made using the Ovals Die for the Big Shot.  I just simply cut out three of the largest ovals from the die, inked the edges with Cajun Craze Classic Ink and adhered them together with a little snail.  The pumpkin stem is made using the Extra- Large Oval Punch.  I used the same method to make it as I did the spider legs.  I also added a piece of burlap behind my pumpkin and using the Circle Scissor Plus, I cut the circle out of a Stampin' Up Wood Sheet.  The edges of the circle are inked with More Mustard and Cajun Craze Classic Inks.  The "trick or treat" phrase was created with MDS.  I just simply printed it on a piece of the Pick Your Poison DSP.  I LOVE using my MDS to make quick little phrases for layouts.

Have a great rest of the week and I'll be back Saturday with a Create with Connie and Mary Challenge card.  Take care.

Very cool card Miss Carrie. I love how your spider bling turned her into a black widow with the hourglass - only needs some red coloring to make it official. Love the shapes and textures and basic angularity of it all paired with circles. My favorite type of graphic design.
