Christmas Lodge- CCMC- HOL5

Today over at Create with Connie and Mary they have a great sketch challenge for the Holiday Edition 2011.  For my card I decided to use a couple of products from the Frostwood Lodge Suite.  I used the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set and the Frostwood Lodge DSP for this card.  I absolutely love this DSP!!  I used my Early Espresso, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers to color the greeting stamp.  I also thought the white parts on both pieces of DSP were a little bright, so I brayered them with Crumb Cake Classic Ink to tone them down a bit.  It also gave the card a more vintage feel I thought.  I finished this card off with lots of Basic Rhinestones.  You can't have a Christmas tree without lots of bling.  lol

Also, don't forget to check out what the other designers came up with using this sketch over at Create with Connie and Mary.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  Take care.

I love it! I haven't opened my package yet of the Frostwood Lodge paper. Maybe this weekend. The rhinestones on the tree look like little bulbs.
