Tonight I wanted to share a Father's Day card I made. I was actually invited to join a swap a while back hosted by fellow demonstrator Virginia Johnson and this is the card I made for it. She had very strict guidelines about our swaps. I loved this because it was a fantastic challenge for me. I received lots of great cards in return. Eventually, I will get around to sharing them. lol This was a pretty basic card to make. I used the new The Open Sea stamp set from the Stampin' Up Summer Mini Catalog and the Early Espresso Baker's Twine. I punched the compass out using the new Postage Stamp Punch as well. I also added a piece of Nautical Expedition DSP on the bottom of the card. The colors I used were Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy and Cherry Cobbler.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday. Take Care.

Carrie, standing ovation! This is just gorgeous! What a perfect color combination! (I just love Cherry Cobbler from SU!) Fabulous layout, and I"m sure your swap was a big hit with your friend/demo!
Fabulous card! I love the stamps you used and the wonderful design.
