I can't believe I have a free minute this afternoon to make a quick post. The boys are actually playing together without much fighting. lol Usually Chase will not let me use a computer in front of him. He must think it's taking all the attention away from him. lol I decided to do the Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week. The Challenge...your style. I would have to say I have a very vintage style. Although I very much enjoy doing clean and simple cards as well. I have also decided to submit this card to the So Shelli Creative Challenge as well. Her challenge is Birthday Cards this month. What a perfect card for that. This card is another 4x4 gift card holder that has a very shabby look to it. I used the On the Grow stamp set out of the Stampin' Up Summer Mini Catalog. I LOVE this little stamp. First, I stamped the image with StazOn Ink on to a piece of Water Color Paper and then water colored the image with Classic Ink Pads. The flowers are colored using Blushing Bride and Rose Red inks and the Foliage is colored with Certainly Celery and Old Olive inks. I used Baja Breeze to water color the jar. After it was colored I then added some Crystal Effects to give it a more realistic look. Finally, I stamped the entire image using the En Francais stamp in Crumb Cake Ink and inked the edges. I also added a couple of little tags I punched out using the Jewelry Tag Punch. There is a nice little birthday greeting on the inside. The colors I used were Early Espresso, Rose Red and Blushing Bride.
Well, that's it for me. I hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday. Take Care.
