Elegant Lines Wedding Cake- Pals Paper Arts Challenge PPA93

It seems like its been forever since I've posted.  lol  I've had Internet issues since last Thursday, but everything seemed to be working just fine this morning.  This week I decided to do the Pals Paper Arts Challenge.  The challenge was to create a project for a wedding and the inspiration was a beautiful wedding picture.  I actually needed a wedding card so it worked out perfect.  I used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder to emboss my cardstock. Then I lightly brayered Platinum Shimmer Paint over the embossed image.  Finally, I cut the cardstock into rectangles and rounded the corners.  I also dyed my Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon to match my flowers.  I just used some water and Blushing Bride Classic Ink Refill to do that.  The flowers are punched out using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  After I punched them out I took my stylus and ran it over them in a circular motion to make them curl up a bit.  It kind of gives them a little texture too.  The cake stand base is made using the Key Tag Punch.  I believe it's retired now though.  I simply punched one side of a rectangle then flipped the cardstock, lined it up and punched the other side.  I think you could use many of Stampin' Up's other punches to make this stand.  The "F" on top of the cake stands for the recipient's last name and is cut out using the Billboard Sizzlit Strip Die.  One last thing, the leaves are punched out using the Two- Step Bird Punch and the cake base is made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.  The colors I used were Whisper White, Blushing Bride Pear Pizazz, Soft Suede and Brushed Silver.

Well, I'm off to bed.  If you have any questions just leave me a comment or send me an email.  Take Care.
