Have a Seat and Diaper Cake
It's been a very busy day. I did manage to get most of what was on my to do list for today done. My first project I have to share is a diaper cake I made. I made this cake for my mom who is co-hosting a baby shower this weekend. This cake is literally the size of a small wedding cake and stands 22 inches high. I use a whole box and half of another small package of Pampers. The secret to a full and tall cake is toilet paper!! Yes, I use 3 rolls of toilet paper as a base and filler in the middle of the cake. You simply build around the rolls. I used the little bird from the Cheep Talk stamp set and added a button to the accordion flower. I also added a rhinestone on his eye so you could see it a little better on the top of the cake. I almost forgot to mention that the letter A on top the cake stands for Avery, the baby's name. I'm sure I didn't spell that right. lol The colors are Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, So Saffron and Whisper White.
My next project is a birthday card I made and is a very simple card. I used the Have a Seat stamp set. I love how this stamp set looks so antique. I added an Antique Brad to it to keep the antique theme. The phrase is from the A word for you stamp set. Real Espresso, More Mustard and Very Vanilla are the colors I used.
Well, I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. Take Care.
