Papaya Collage

I think one of my new favorite sets is Papaya Collage.  I have grown very fond of this stamp set.  lol  This card was super easy to put together and I really love how it turned out.  I did lots of stamping, but I didn't add many layers.  Sometimes I just love simple and this card is just that.  I also used all new In Colors.  I have to admit when I first laid eyes on them I really did not like any of them at all.  However, when my order came and I pulled the card stock and ink pads out of the box I fell in love with them instantly.  Almost all of my projects within the last month have had at least one new In Color on them.  The frame and the butterfly are stamped in Raspberry Ripple and the greenery is stamped in Gumball Green.  I added a Midnight Muse frame cut from one of Apothecary Accents Framelits.  A simple Linen Thread bow and Basic Rhinestones finish this card off.

I also want to thank everyone who left such sweet comments and entered for the Blog Candy yesterday.  That is just a taste of what the New Catalog Edition has to offer.  Today Melissa Davies over at RubberFUNatics has a special treat for you as well...she is also giving away some blog candy!  Make sure you stop by and leave a comment on her post for an entry to win a free subscription to the New Catalog Edition as well.  Don't forget that the Early Bird Special is still going on through June 16.  If you sign up now it's only $24.95 for 30 exclusive projects!  That's a great deal so hop on over to Create with Connie and Mary and get signed up.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Carrie - I like the collage you made, especially since you didn't center it in the middle of the card. Your version is much more interesting!

Beautiful card! I held off on ordering this set because I'm not so great at the whole collage thing, but you did a fabulous job with it!!
