Apothecary Art

Today over at Create with Connie and Mary there is a fabulous sketch challenge.  I decided to use the Apothecary Art Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  This is another set that I haven't had the chance to use until now and I love it.  The Labels Collection Framlit Dies coordinate with this stamp set making it so you don't have to cut the image out with paper snipes.  I watercolored two of these frames and cut the tiny little flowers out on one and used Mini Glue Dots to attach them to the second frame.  Using a yellow Sharpie, I colored the Basic Pearls in the middle of the flowers.  I also used the water spot stamp from the French Foliage Stamp Set and stamped the Pool Party Seam Binding to shabby it up a bit.

We hope that you will play along with us this week over at Create with Connie and Mary.  Also, don't forget to stop by and see what the other designers did with this sketch.  I hope everyone has a fabulous Thursday.  Take care.

Wow! This is gorgeous! I am in awe that you cut those tiny flowers out! Love the dimension it gives! And the yellow flower centers are perfect!

Love the soft colors! You have way more patience than I do to cut out those tiny flowers! Wow! Really a pretty card!

This is so soft and pretty! I love that way you've shabbied up the paper and ribbon. And such a clever use of the two tags die!

Very cute card Carrie. I like how you used the French Foliage stamp image mixed in with the Apothecary Art and the little tags are adorable!

Love how you used the tag die behind the focal point and the colored pearl AND the tags! Great job with the sketch!
