Paper Flower Christmas Tree

Last Monday my mom and I hosted a table at the Advent by Candlelight Event at our church.  This is a wonderful evening filled with Christmas music, dessert and remembering what the true meaning of Christmas really is about.  216 wonderful women took part in this evening.  Each table hostess is responsible for decorating her table and serving dessert.  This year I decided to make a Christmas tree out of paper flowers for my centerpiece.  If you're a Stampin' Up Demonstrator you might recognize this tree.  In November's issue of Stampin' Success there was an awesome Christmas Tree made out of die cut flowers.  I totally cased this idea.  However, I think my tree was larger and I didn't have a couple of the dies they used so I had to improvise a bit.  I heat embossed and dry embossed every part of all 100 flowers that are on this tree.  This was alot of work and I was ready to pull my hair out by the time it was done.  lol  There is a complete list of the supplies I used at the bottom of this post too.  Also, I went off and forgot my camera at home.  So these pictures were taken with my iphone and are not the best.  They seem to have a funny rose tint to them as well and I think that's from my flash.

If anyone has any questions about this project, please feel free to leave me a comment or send me an email.  I hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday.  Take care.
