Christmas Under The Moon

As I've mentioned before, Donna Heber over at Donna's Designs makes the most beautiful cards with very realistic sponged backgrounds.  This card has the sponged background, but mine can't even compare to Donna's beautiful creations.  I believe I used Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Night of Navy and a bit of Elegant Eggplant Classic Inks for the nighttime sky.  The moon is shaded with So Saffron and a bit of More Mustard Classic Inks as well.  I stamped the tree from the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set in Jet Black StazOn Ink on White Glossy Cardstock.  I added some Basic Rhinestones to the tree to give it a bit of shimmer.  The snow is just a couple of torn Silver Glimmer Paper scraps.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  The countdown till Christmas has started here at the Sampsel household and the boys are very excited.  This will be a crazy week, but we wouldn't have it any other way.  Take care.

Hi Carrie,

I just love your tree under the moon design! Very elegant and the silver glimmer paper is fantastic for the snow. Thank you for posting the link to my blog.
