Gently Falling

Today I worked on finishing up several different projects.  I have a bad habit of starting one project and then starting another before the first one is finished.  Chase took a nice long nap so I was able to get quite a bit accomplished morning.  I managed to finish a 12 x 12 layout, two cards and a 3D project.  I was pleased with all of this.  lol

I decided to share a 5 x 5 card I made using the new Gently Falling Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This is a fantastic two- step stamp set to have.  It's so easy to use, especially the clear- mounted set.  I stamped the outside of my leaves in Soft Suede Classic Ink and then used the second stamp to add the main leaf colors.  I then spritzed them with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and cut them out.  You will also notice I used a piece of the new Spice Cake DSP as well.  I  absolutely love this new DSP and color combination.

If anyone has anything in particular they would like to see such as a technique, stamp set or whatever you can think of, just leave me a comment or send me an email.  I always appreciate the feedback I receive and I'm also very open to suggestions.  A few months ago I had a reader ask me to use more DSP on my cards.  I have tried to make a conscious effort to do so.  This is a challenge for me since I tend not to do this.  I love a good challenge though.  I did very much appreciate that suggestion too.

On another note, I won't get a chance tomorrow to post because my house and laundry are in serious need of attention.  lol  However, make sure you check back Saturday.  I will have a very special post that day and you won't want to miss it.  I know I don't usually post on the weekends, but like I said at the beginning of the week... I want to make sure I post more this week.  lol
Anyway, have a fabulous Friday.  Take care.

Oh I love this! Spice Cake DSP has quickly become a fave of mine even though I have tons of Retired DSP I need to use up. Anyways, I just love those stamped leaves. Such a gorgeous fall card.

This gorgeous autumn card caught my eye right away. I love the soft colors of the leaves and the pretty designer paper. I bet it looks marvelous with the shimmer smooch spritz!
