Established Elegance- Create with Connie and Mary Challenge

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  This week I decided to to do the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge.  I loved the sketch they provided and I really wanted to use the new Mocha Morning Specialty DSP for this card.  However, once I got started I kinda thought the color scheme was a little dark.  So I decided to go with a masculine birthday card.  I used the new Established Elegance Stamp Set for this card as well.  This stamp set has many images I think that could be used for masculine or feminine cards.  I stamped the image on Crumb Cake Cardstock and punched it out using the Extra- Large Oval Punch and then I simply layered on a Designer Frame.  I also added a Square Fire Brad in hopes of giving it a little pop of color.  The colors I used were Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday and try to stay cool.  It's smokin' hot here in Missouri!!  Take care.

Love all the various shades of brown Carrie. This is a fabulous masculine card. That bit of bling in the center is just perfect.
