Cherish Friendship- Get Well Wishes

Usually on Mondays I try and post a challenge card, but I did not get a chance to do one this weekend.  So I thought I would share this simple little card instead.  I used the Cherish Friendship Stamp Set for this card and I watercolored the main image.  The background is stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink using the Woodgrain Stamp.  I also added some Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding with a Vintage Trinket Brad secured around the knot.  The colors I used were Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Cherry Cobbler.

This card is much cuter in person.  I think I might be headed to bed early tonight.  We've had a big weekend and lots going on in this house the last few weeks.  Actually, I'm falling behind on my scrapbooking!!  Gavin thinks his new teacher is fantastic so I think the school year is off to a good start.  I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.  Take care.

Nicely done, Carrie! These papers together are just yummy - one of my fave color combinations. Lovely coloring of the chair - such a quaint, serene image - beautiful!

Beautiful card. Love the colors you used. I think I might "need" that border punch. :0)
