Ok, so I felt a little crazy today making a Christmas card on the 4th of July, but once I started I decided I couldn't wait to start making Christmas projects. I decided to play along over at Paper Player's Challenge this week and the challenge was Christmas in July. My card is a 5x5 card. I used the Christmas College Stamp for the background and the snowflakes are from the Winter's Post Stamp Set. I used the Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner Punches for the layer of Cherry Cobbler. I have to admit I haven't ever used the Scallop Trim Corner Punch until today. It was a little challenging getting the corners lined up at first and then it was a piece of cake. I inked all the edges in Early Espresso Classic Ink and then added some Champagne Glass Glitter around the edges. Really, this was a pretty easy card. The colors are Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake.
I hope everyone has had a safe and happy 4th of July. I'm off to watch the fireworks. Take Care.
