Blossom Box

I have worked super hard today making two projects using the new Blossom Box Die for the Big Shot.  I had to watch the Stampin' Up training video twice, but I think I got it down.  This new die is a bit temperamental at times.  lol  It works best with DSP and the lines must be scored and folded well.  For this particular box I used a piece of Soft Suede DSP and brayered it with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.  I wanted the box to be a solid color since my butterflies had embossed patterns on them.  After I inked the DSP, I spritzed it with Vanilla Smooch Spritz.  I used the Beautiful Butterflies Die to cut the large butterfly out.  I then embossed it using the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder and attached it to a small floral wire.  The center of this box has a small hole in which I as able to stick the wire into.  It just gave the butterfly some height and dimension.  The smaller butterflies were cut out using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.  The colors I used were Calypso Coral, Peach Parfait, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla.

If anyone has any questions about this project please feel free to email me or leave a comment.  I LOVE feedback!!  I took some time out last night to look for projects using this die and I really didn't find to many, so I was excited to see what I could come up with today.  Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.  Take care.

You did such a great job with that die Carrie! I was expecting to see some projects made with it @ Convention but was disappointed to only see 1!!! She made it seem easy but I KNOW that it's not!!

Your box & butterflies are really gorgeous and the colors are great together! Very nice work Hun & TFS!!!
