A few weeks back my good friend/neighbor Jen found a Cecorpia Moth on the outside of our house. I quickly grabbed the camera and took a few pictures. She, yes it was a she, had a wingspan of about 6 inches. She was absolutely beautiful and most likely getting ready to lay eggs. The Cecorpia moth is North America's largest native moth species and to be able to see one of these beautiful creatures is quite rare. In fact, there was a small article about this species in this month's Missouri Conservationist. Anyway, I knew I had to scrapbook the pictures that the boys and I taken. I decided just to make an 8x8 page and I used the My friend Stamp Set for this page. It is a new set from the upcoming catalog and I absolutely love it. The page was a pretty easy page to make. I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die to cut the butterflies out I spritzed them with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. The title is stamped using the Sweet Shoppe Alphabet stamp set. I added lots of Basic Rhinestones to give the page a little sparkle as well. The colors I used were Rich Razelberry, Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla. I love this color combination and the Wisteria Wonder is a fabulous new In color.
Well, that's it for me. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I will be posting another organization tip or idea from my scapbook room on Sunday. If anyone has any questions or requests about how I organize just leave me a comment or send me an email. Not that I have the best organization solutions, lol, but I know I am always searching for new tips and ideas. Take care.
